Starting school

Children can start reception in the September following their fourth birthday.

Applications for reception places are made through your local authority by 15th January for admission the following September. National Offer Day is 16 April (or the next working day).

If you would like your child to join Thurleigh Primary School at another point during the school year, you can make an in-year application through Bedford Borough Council.
